The Volvo XC40, with All-Wheel Drive, will give you up to 248 horsepower and 258 lb. ft. of torque. That's a lot more power on the standard XC40. It's more for less with the Volvo brand.

Mercedes-Benz GLA

The two vehicles are similar in size. But, if you want to carry some extra gear on those out-of-town vacations or weekend getaways, the XC40 could be a better option. The Mercedes-Benz GLA provides a solid 50.5 cubic feet of cargo room with the right seat configurations. By comparison, the Volvo XC40 offers up to 57.5 cubic feet of cargo space. The Volvo XC40 also comes standard with premium leather seating upholstery. And, if you add a few more dollars, you'll begin to dip into the premium seating options with the Mercedes-Benz GLA. Both vehicles provide great entertainment and technology features, but what comes standard on the XC40 will cost you a bit more for the Mercedes-Benz GLA.
