Changing a flat tire is a pretty straightforward operation of you know what you are doing. Here is a simple guide that will have you on your way in minutes.
Place the vehicle in park, turn off the engine, and secure the emergency brake.
Loosen all the lugs on the flat tire one turn, then jack the car in the air high enough so the tire is no longer touching the road surface.
Remove the lug nuts, take the flat tire off the vehicle, then replace with the spare tire.
Hand tighten all the lug nuts while the tire is still off the road surface. Lower the jack, as soon as the tire touches the road, tighten the lug in a cross pattern the rest of the way.
