Building on the success of the XC90, the Volvo XC60 is the next step in using new electric technology to get a great performing car.
Volvo cars has developed Drive-E powertrains as part of their initiative to have electric options in all of their models by 2019. Under the hood of the XC60 is a four-cylinder powertrain engineered to give maximum performance and minimum fuel consumption.
"A great car starts with a great powertrain," says Michael Fleiss, Vice President of Powertrain Engineering at Volvo Cars. "It's such a big part of how it makes you feel when you are driving."
The XC60 has a mode to suit the driving you do. In Pure mode, you drive an all-electric, zero emissions vehicle with a range of 25 miles. Switch to Power mode to get maximum performance or choose Hybrid Mode for a combination of both.
At Weston Volvo near Ft. Lauderdale, FL you can stop in and see the XC60 in person. Contact our staff and arrange a test drive.
