As a parent, you know that finding a suitable family ride is more complex than counting seat belts. Initial price point, entertainment, versatility, efficiency--all is taken into account but perhaps none rest as heavy-heartedly as safety. You want to ensure that both you and all your precious cargo are protected. That's why you look towards the family-approved model lineup of Volvo and its commitment to safety.
And it seems that Volvo doesn't just "call it a day" with the impressive safety already available in its models but is always looking for new ways to improve. One of these improved safety features is the Volvo Slippery Road Alert. Currently in development stages, this road alert feature notifies drivers when he or she hits a patch of ice and then the feature notifies other approaching drivers of the patch of ice. Essentially, Volvo is allowing cars to talk to one another, warning one Volvo to the next of approaching road hazards.
We at Weston Volvo can't wait for this technology to hit Davie streets. At least, you can still get a taste of equally as impressive safety with our new Volvo inventory in the meantime.
