Here at Weston Volvo, we have been hearing a lot about Volvo's new Drive-E engines. These engines are small, lightweight, and powerful. Having all three of those things together seems pretty impossible. Well here is Anders Agfors, Volvo Senior Engineer, to tell you how it actually is possible.
Just like Agfors said, this lightweight, fuel efficient engine still has just as much power as a larger one. We're not sure about you, but we think that having 44.1mpg and 306hp in one car is pretty amazing.
Within the next two years, the Drive-E engine will become available in all new Volvos. You'll be able to get all the performance you want with the efficiency that you need in any model; we think that's pretty amazing.
